Hope this email finds you well as it leaves us in Piegut, France. A few pictures in Iran and Turkmenistan ….a large burning crater from the 1950’s when the Russians attempted to drill for gas, and its been burning ever since.!!!!!!
A nice warm campsite as the desert temp drops very quickly after sunset. Hope you can see I am dressing according to the locals. I purchased all my cloths in a desert bazaar for $8.00 including my Siberian mountain boots which I am still wearing., hahhah. The night shot shows the ribbon of fire burning across, the crater in the background is about 25mts away from our tent. ( a warm night indeed )
